NBA Rumors
You should read our NBA rumors page every day. It's updated at least daily, even right now as the league (and much of the world) is on hold due to the global coronavirus pandemic. Whatever is happening in the world, all the hoops hype is here on InsideHoops.com every day.

NBA Daily
The action on the court -- the games --- that's what always matters most. For a daily roundup on one website page, hit our NBA daily game recaps, for a right-to-the-point summary.

NBA Free Agency
The 2019 NBA free agency period was legendary. Big NBA free agents quickly agreed to many deals that nobody saw coming. Some of the biggest 2019 NBA offseason news included Kawhi Leonard and Paul George going to the Clippers, Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant to the Nets, D'Angelo Russell to the Warriors, Kemba Walker to the Celtics, Jimmy Butler to the Heat, and Al Horford to the Sixers. As for 2020, we don't know exact calendar dates for that yet, because everything is on hold due to the coronavirus pandemic. Most years, signings begin in early July. We should have an update on that in May or at latest, June.

NBA Power Rankings
The most important thing in NBA basketball is winning. Each team's win-loss record is forever the biggest measuring stick. For that, see the NBA standings page. But judging how good each team truly is, that's subjective. It's an opinion. For that, see the NBA power rankings.

NBA Draft
The 2019 NBA Draft took place on June 20 and the first few picks went as expected: the Pelicans drafted Zion Williamson No. 1 overall, the Grizzlies took Ja Morant at No. 2, and the Knicks took R.J. Barrett at No. 3. The best, most consistent rookie in the 2019-20 NBA season was Morant. Zion missed much of the 2019-20 season due to injury, but was awesome on the court once he actually started playing. As for 2020, the draft is scheduled for June 25.

NBA Summer Leagues
There were three NBA Summer Leagues in 2019. The Salt Lake City Summer League (run by the Jazz) and California Classic (run by the Kings) both ran from July 1-3. The main league, and centerpiece of summer action, the Las Vegas NBA Summer League ran from July 5-15 and featured all 30 teams. Right now, it's unclear if 2020 summer league will be played.

FIBA World Cup
The 2019 FIBA World Cup tournament, the hot international basketball event of the summer is a wrap. Spain controlled almost the entire gold medal game, and came away with victory, leaving Argentina with silver. And in the third place game, France claimed silver, while Australia finished 4th. Team USA finished a mere 7th. To see what happened in each USA game, hit our USA basketball page.

NBA Stats
The InsideHoops.com NBA stats section focuses on the essentials. The most popular page for fans is probably the NBA player stat leaders page. But click the section to see what each team is good and not so good at, which rookies are shining, and more. Also in that section is the NBA attendance data info page.
