Michael Beasley Clippers era ends earlyMichael Beasley's time with the Clippers lasted around two days. The team on Saturday announced that they have waived the veteran forward.

Beasley came to the Clippers on the day of the NBA trade deadline, February 7, in a deal with the Lakers. This season for LAL he was averaging 7.0 points and 2.3 rebounds in 10.7 minutes per game, on good shooting: 49% FG. His NBA career averages are 12.4 points and 4.7 rebounds on 46.5% FG. He has played for the Heat, Timberwolves, Suns, Rockets, Bucks, Knicks and Lakers.

Beasley is a useful option for any team looking to add scoring off the bench. He can produce buckets in a hurry.

The Clippers are 30-26 so far this season, the 8th best record in a tight Western conference. They recently traded leading scorer Tobias Harris away, leaving Lou Williams, Danilo Gallinari and Montrezl Harrell as the team's remaining leading scorers. Of new additions ot the Clippers in that Harris trade, our eyes are on Landry Shamet.
