What am I missing? Hardaway can get going with much less space than the Celtics are affording the Mavs.
Against the Celtics this year:
Kyrie is being bottled up by the Celtics. Doncic is doing his thing. Nobody else can create some offense or shoot in tight spaces.

Payton/Kemp destroyed him in 1993 before getting beat by Barkley in 7 games...
Then the Sonics won 64 in 94' but were historically-upset by the 8 seeded Dikembe - the Sonics waited until 1996 to finally break through to the Finals by once again destroying Hakeem...
There was a lot of parity in the 90's West because the Suns, Rockets, Jazz,...

The Celtics are up 2-0 with Tatum shooting 12/38 over the first 2 games, disproving yet another of your theories that his "expert jumpshooting" is the reason Boston is gonna win.

KD's another example, outside of joining a 73 win, his teams have been massive disappointments in Brooklyn & Phoenix.

How are those horrible arguments? Stats are literally what happened. You constantly use stats in your arguments. You just don't know how to make a case for Ingram being better without sounding retarded so you're afraid to try.

But KD followed LBJ and made a SUPER team and won Back-2-back FMVPs. Doesn't that count.

You don't find it remarkable how all the evidence shows that Lebron is a loser - Bron-ball is the only brand to having a losing record on the championship level over a meaningful sample...
Obviously, lots of guys are 1-2 in the Finals, but anything of 4 Finals or more, and then only Lebron or teammates have a losing Finals record.

Well, he's quite talented but this is not 2016 anymore. Also let's not forget how he used to have papa kong bt when he first made both the playoffs and the finals. Things would have gone better for him if he never became full of himself before.

since 3-pointer basketball began in 1980.
So brands that lose on the Finals level (losing brands) don't make the Finals a bunch of times, except Lebron-ball because of the manufactured path to the Finals - aka the "decision" to put the top 3 players in the conference on 1 team.

Tatum in the regular season: 26.9 PPG on 60.4 TS%. And this is with a stacked team, we know he can average 30 on similar efficiency if he has less help since he did it literally last season.
Ingram in the regular season: 20.8 PPG on 57.8 TS% (below league average, as he has been in 5 of his 8 seasons). In the playoffs he put up a dismal 14.3...

Works for the team, but if we're talking about Tatum individually he's just not there as a player and I'm glad we finally got to see him play Luka in the POs so the people would stop putting the two on the same level.

Right now I think it's Jrue, but I don't have confidence in that holding up. If I had to bet on it, I'd pick Brown to be FMVP if the Celtics win.

Could the Unicorn get it? Prior to the series I'd have said Tatum would be a lock if Boston wins it all, but his 6-22 tonight (18 pts) & 6-16 game 1 (16 pts) aren't that impressive. 17 pts per game average on 12 for 38 or 31.6% from the floor.
Who does everyone have so far for FMVP? Could this be the first year they give it to a player on...
