I think he wanted to be a wordsmith, which he was. The Infinite raps were nasty but not a radio winner. Going the extra level and realizing that something sells doesn't necessarily make someone a fraud. He was satirical about the Shady persona and frequently undercut his albums with songs that were real so it wasn't just a straight gimmick of an...

He's a Pippen-level offensive player who meat-rides Kobe. I just can't get behind him as a superstar player. I've been high on many of the Cs players but I can't get there with JT, sorry.
He needed to show me something in these Finals and thus far he hasn't lived up to being that dude. Jaylen Brown is in the lead for FMVP right now which just...

Axey baby... hes the 2nd best player in multiple Finals, a champion, and has outplayed MVPs at their peaks. A lot of HOFers have never had the playoff successs Irving has.
Its time for you to give him his flowers. Put down the donut and show some respeck.
With that being said... there's a lot of series left.

Lebron was never a threat. A dude who switched teams 5 times and still doesn't have more titles than a guy in his own era that came in after him and that beat him head to head more.

"More skilled" is a meaningless buzzword considering he's objectively worse than Tatum at offense. But we all know you think looking "cool" when you brick a shot is worth something :lol

There was a stretch in the first where the refs made it clear that Dallas was not going to be allowed to play D the Boston has been. It was three or four very quick fouls. Made a big difference.

They got away with so much of it throughout the game though. It's fine if both teams are allowed to defend the same way but it seemed like Boston got away with a lot more in those situations, but you're right about the Mavs shooting themselves in the foot, should have still been in a position to win this.

You hate him and have been talking trash his entire career. His team is two wins away from achieving the greatest dreams of their career and here you are, still hating. First team AllNBA, Olympian, a million commercials, and now possibly going to achieve every players ultimate goal. Deal with it.

Kidd needs to be a little more casual with it though. He was too obvious with his "Brown is the best player" remarks.
Talk about how he thought his team did a marvelous job of forcing Tatum to be pedestrian etc. Puff up Brown's driving ability. Don't talk about who is the best player. Just exclusively focus on Brown's strengths and Tatum's...

I said Ingram is more skilled as an offensive player which is pretty obvious to anyone who knows ball. Him having terrible injury luck & worse teammates does not change that.

Officiating was terrible. There was a point in the third where White threw up a prayer as the clock was expiring. It hit the backboard but not the rim. Tatum came up with it and got an and one. Three point swing there on a totally obvious shot clock violation that no-one even mentioned,
White’s block at the end when they were down by five...

If Luka deserved FMVP......
this was the game.
He was on course for 50 pts game the way how open court offense is played these days...
You score 23 at half. You end up with 31. You dont deserve FMVP.
Luka got extra day break rest btw game 1 and game 2.
