I think we can all agree: OKC is definitely the team of the future. There's absolutely no way this is as good as it'll get.

No... I get it. Shai's only 25 and he also has some nice pieces around him. They definitely raised eyebrows this season but need more time to gel.
It's not like OKC isn't capable of having their own lob city at times though.

Doncic was EXTREMELY fortunate to get that last tip of the ball over to Washington for the final shot. He completely lost control of his dribble trying to back his way all the way down to the basket, Shai nearly stole the ball from the blindside. Terrible possession but luck was on the Mavs side. And especially Luka’s, that would have been...

That go-ahead lob from SGA to chet was filthy. Was kinda hoping Mavs lost just for the sake of that being remembered as a game-winner

I hate tell you this man but the Mavs are getting swept.
MAYBE Luka magic can win them a game at home but it doesn't look good for them.
Goofy ass Gafford, rookie Livley and little PJ are going to get raped by either team.

Now that I think about it they blew the whistle on the foul. If they don't call the foul the clock keeps running. Kyries shot might have ended it. If it didn't there was probably less than a second left

Lively was a ****ing menace tonight.
Not surprising OKCs lack of size was their downfall. Also felt like COTY letting the Mavs go on a huge run in the 3rd without a timeout was insanely stupid.
Great game though

I didn't even notice Kyrie's putback after the whistle watching it live, so even if they don't call it, Dallas still takes the lead. Big difference being though, OKC would've had a timeout.

If they had not called the foul, Kyrie puts in the miss and Dallas wins. It would be terrible if OKC ended up winning the game simply because the refs blew the whistle when they should not have. I don’t know if, in a situation earlier in the game, I would agree with the review. The double clutch looks like a save after he was stuffed. But...

It's not going to be easy. Mavs are not lacking in anything against either team in a match-up. They got size, defense, 3PT shooting, two of the best scorers in the league who are also playing unselfish basketball when they need to.

Lebron was lottery for his first couple seasons despite having the East all-star center on his team
Jokic, KD, Lebron, and Curry were all lottery for several years
So Jordan did better than all these guys
Ultimately, Jordan needed nothing to make the playoffs or win 50 games, while Lebron needed the East all-star center, a HOF coach...

Same. They have a lot of doubters, but I think they should be seen as the favorites.

As others mentioned Kyrie had the putback if they didn't call the foul. Of course then OKC would have had their time out to advance the ball for the last shot, but thats still iffy against a tough defense with 2.5 left.

I wouldn’t say it’s “Moar help” but they do need a rebounder and/or a big body underneath. Lively killed them tonight and they were susceptible to lobs all series. Although the latter could be partially experience related on defense.

Why are you saying 30 foot when its 25?
lol?
He shortly touched the ball, which is okay, but then he hadnt released it yet and raked all over his arm.
Why are you going insane?

It was a foul, you have to call it. I agree it's an EXTREMELY lame way for the series to end, but like I said before, Shai was risking fate by contesting such a low percentage shot that heavily.

Healthy Boston will beat Minnesota convincingly but I would definitely pick Denver over Boston.
Finch and Malone are obviously much better coaches than that dumb ass Muzzula tho.

It was a foul and it was clear as day. The ball hadn't even left his hands as SGA was swiping all along his arm.

jokic is shitting on them - its smooth sailing for him after he survives minnesota's twin towers
dallas nor boston have anyone that can slow him down and his supporting cast of aaron gordon and murray and KCP and mpj will come through again like last year
