I don't know about best player, but he's clearly the difference between a 'pick em' series and an inevitable Celtics victory. Doesn't help that Kyrie is well under par two games in. Hopefully Dallas can even it up at home and make it a series.

the bigger team is also the better passing team, only trolls can't tell that each time the Celtics put up a 3 is just a big f*ck you to them. because trolls don't rebound.

I agree with most of both of these posts.
I agree Tatum isn’t a kobe or whatever mold, his offense is reliant on his streaky 3 point shooting.
I agree though that it’s good for him to let the game come to him and dont force the issue on offense, especially with how talented Boston is this year. He needs to exert himself on D and play...

still living in the slow the pace down and no transition defense era.
pretty sure most of the players on the olympic roster played in oversea leagues. which is why a 42 year old Diana Taurasi made the team for basketball reasons. it's got people trying to cash in their outdated check written all over it.

Yes, anyone trying to argue that Women’s team is in jeopardy of losing one game if Clark is on the team……that’s just either the most insanely low iq take or just being intellectually dishonest.

the reporter once asked the entire olympic women basketball staff "how would you define positionless basketball."
in which the staff responded in such manner "it's simple, it means you don't get to play basketball."

Dirk in 2011 had a TS% where only Marion and Barea was worse than him, coming in at .537%, that's at 26/9.7/2.
if anything, Porzingis's ability to assist is under the telescope

Jordan sold so many meal tickets, that you'd have to blatantly foul him in order to not look like you're out of sorts.

Watch the games. It was because Curry was injured and even him not being full strength he still commanded an insane amount of traps and double teams.
Was literally open Gym for some of the others. If Barnes and Iggy don’t go on historic cold steaks in game 6 and 7 the Warriors win.
Watch the game and tell me how many wide open mid range...

That's why this is a discussion. It's hard to pick MJ's best year. I will say 97 was just as impressive if not more impressive than 96 though. Defending a championship is always harder than winning initially. Defending a championship after setting the all time RS wins mark made it infinitely more difficult. After getting every teams best...

Hard to gauge this. Celtics this playoff pretty much perform on par with a relatively lowly Indy WITHOUT Haliburton when they should've blown them out every game on paper.
Last season Jamaal Murray was pretty much a superstar in the playoff when he should've been much worse on paper.

That is dishonest. It absolutely factors into the rankings how a champion fared the year(s) after. First time champions are looked upon more favorably when we can forecast more titles and less favorably when it does not work out that way.

I think Chewbecca would be okay with it too. He would gladly hand Trump a knife and get down in front of Trump to stab him. In his will, he would have "Please pardon my Donald Trump!" :lol

BTW, isn't it crazy how most of this forum went from picking the Mavs to beat the Celtics to now threads being made on how the Celtics are a top 3 team in the last 20 years? :oldlol:
