I feel like Dirk is gonna end up like David Robinson, a somewhat forgotten superstar because his career locked horns with the likes of Shaq, Kobe, Lebron, Garnett, KD...despite the fact that his playoff head to head is pretty damn favorable against guys like that who are all considered higher up the GOAT list. This dude was good for 25/10 for his...

LeBron would've passive-aggressively pouted, tried to get him fired, and then send an order 66 out for Klutch to do some PR hitpieces.

During the game against Germany, Team USA played its worst game. They still won, but only by eleven points and MJ had a relatively bad game considering his caliber, he recorded 14 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists, and 6 turnovers. Coach Knight went after him!

LBJ stands no chance after Kyries 28 PPG and Draymond suspension to even come close to 1991 -1993 MJs FMVPs and GOAT finals dominance.
Only 2000 - 2002 Shaq came close to matching 1991 - 1993 MJ FMVP...

1989!
32.5-8-8 @ 54%FG 2.9 SPG in that era is just impossible.
Bulls were in toughest, physical East Conf. in the toughest, physical Central Division (DET, CAVS, HAWKS)
CAVS went 6-0 destroyed 1989 Bulls and MJ. 57 wins
PISTONS went 5-0 destroyed 1989 Bulls and MJ. 63 wins.

All this actually means is the Bulls choked a lead while the Cavs made a comeback facing elimination. Just another reason Lebron's Fmvp could be seen as better, thanks. Oh and the Warriors were a far better team than the Suns, no questions asked. You're hurting Mjs case the more you post lol.

Don't be an idiot, the warriors had better defenders for sure. It's not even a debate. Draymond didn't play the last 2 games of the series? I coulda swore Iguodala got blocked in game 7 and Draymond fouled Lebron on a dunk attempt with seconds left in the game before Lebron sealed it. Majerle. 33 shots per game. He never did that before or again...

and no one forgets Draymond Green game suspension either.
Everyone remembers 1993 suns. its because it had a true leader unlike Curry's GSW. his name is Sir Charles.

Who the **** even remembers the 93 Suns? A whatever finals team.
Meanwhile 2016 Warriors won 73 games.

look......I desperately rooted for LBJ to get Cavs franchise their maiden championship!
Cavs would've gotten one in 2015 if Love did not injured.
but
this is getting out of control.
Draymond suspension alone cast a huge shadow on 2016 cavs ring after GSW being up 3-1. Entire momentum was shifted to Cavs.

Not the same thing at all.
Bulls score only 12 pts (LOWER) and actually WON in spite of Suns HIGHER 19 pts 4th Q output.
GSW actually scored 13 pts (LOWER) and LOST and rightfully so to CAVS 18 pts (HIGHER) 4th Q output.
in so many words, GSW helped out LBJ whereas SUNS beat out MJ by outscoring the Bulls.
huge difference.

In a weird way, he was kind of a victim of how good he got. The Mavericks were always high up in the standings, but outside of really the 03 team....they never really surrounded him with teams that should be title favorites. They won a shit ton of games in the regular season each year and then often had to play teams that either had better players...

You are misunderstanding my argument. I'm not saying this current Mavs team around Luka is as good as every team they put around Dirk...that is definitely not true.
I'm talking broadly...if Luka has this kind of help or slightly more...for the next 5 years or so...I'd say it is perfectly reasonable to expect him to win at least 1 title if he...

Luka didn't have much impact on the game. He was defended well and on the flip side didn't defend well. He couldn't get people their shots. Maybe that's on the coaching but Luka didn't look dominant at all imo. 1 assists and 4 turnovers lol. Didn't shoot particularly well. Brown was very impressive on both sides.
OP made this thread because...

You didn't notice his assists totals? You think needing 26 shots to score 30 points is normal for him? I've illustrated what I'm talking about pretty well. If you don't understand it is not my problem.

What you're saying would only make any sense if Doncic had a significantly worse than usual game. He played more or less equivalent to game 1 against the Wolves. So again, I ask, what are we even talking about?

Well I gotta say Jaden Springer getting a ring this year is definitely something I didn't anticipate at the start of the season.
I have heard a theory this past week that Sixers fans should be rooting for the Celtics as the success they have had in the past ten years, topped off by a championship , should be enough to embarrass ownership and...
