MJ won multiple chips with an injured Pip who was horrible on offense. '96 & '98 are some of the greatest 1-man carry jobs on offense.

Why would the NBA compete with the Stanley Cup Finals by playing on the same night?
Smart move by Silver and Gary Bettman

As he has been all playoffs. So is this a built in excuse for Luka’s poor conditioning? Luka finally has to play defense and it’s becoming an issue.

Locked him down for the most part head-to-head. Made things very difficult, forced several turnovers. Played a great game offensively picking and choosing the right spots and making huge momentum swinging plays overall.
We watched the game. He was better that night.

Nothing will happen to him, they let the statue of limitations run out on the corruption and money laundering crimes that matter and Joe Biden as President can pardon him for the rest without any fuss.

What's especially weird to me is that they just need to be patient. Anyone that knows sports knows that pro athletes need years to peak. You don't come into the highest level of your sport and you're immediately one of the best players. Maybe she needs to get stronger, maybe she needs to make better decisions about when to shoot or pass, etc....

Kidd thinks his best shot at winning is to assume Tatum will sell out for the FMVP. I think Tatum did OK. The only thing I think the Cs did really well, other than banging a ridiculous amount of 3s in a row to start, was Porzingis bodying people from 15-17. I don't think they can count on that every time, but I don't think the Cs played out of...

The typical ISH klan members fuming Clanklin isn’t good enough to make the team. The same people who always are ranting about “no handouts” too. Can’t make this shit up. Maybe Clanklin should stop tossing up bricks and turning the ball over constantly if she wants a spot on the team.

You don't hate me. You hate yourself. It's a projection.
That's why everytime you post its always an argument or some bitter reply. You're literally debating your own reflection.
But that's cool. We all are in a way.
On to Game 2!

Yeah. If the argument is they win everytime….I don’t see why they can’t put Clark on the team even if she isn’t the best option (which is ridiculous, she obviously should be on the team for skill reasons).
But even if she wasn’t. Clark would obviously be a huge draw. And it seems to me the theme with WNBA and Women’s sports in general is they...

I take your point and likely agree if Wemby turns into something that even Duncan wasn't.
We'll see. Hopefully Luka does something legendary starting tonight and for the rest of this series so he answers that question way ahead of schedule.

Nah bro...
If Sabrina Ionescu and and Kayla Copper can make it with zero Olympic experience so can Claŕk.
The hilarious thing about it is all prior WNBA greats have made it, but the ONLY one that has actually made casual fans watch them is Clark.
I feel like the WNBA is profiting off the hate she garners. It's draws headlines to cheapshot...

They are showing love to ol girl who is going to her 'record breaking' 6th olympics. That's not the strongest team. One of the girls has been injured and will probably still be injured for Olympics, thus, ironically, paving the way for Clark to make it as an alternate.
I dunno. You should watch her play. Even in college or whatever. Her shots...

So again I am wandering into the unsafe territory of predicting greatness. Duncan was the best 4 ever and the foundation for a dynasty so what you're writing is valid. But Duncan was not unsolvable. He was not impossible to score around or dropping 30 on everyone every game and making it look easy. That is what I am expecting from Wembanyama. I...

Maybe, but I see no reason why it will be harder to beat Wemby than it was to beat Duncan when he had great teams around him. If Dirk can beat the 06 Spurs with the cast he had, I don't think it is unreasonable to expect Luka to do something similar. Especially when he has a guy like Kyrie as his running mate and Dirk was able to do it with Jason...

Momentum can bee an asset but for the Celtics Horford and Porzingis getting a good rest between games is a nice benefit. The team also gets extra time to break down the maverick defense, specifically coming up with a plan for Tatum to pass out of the collapsing defense. Had a lot of turnovers in Game 1.

This could be right but predicting the future is impossible. I personally expect that Pop will put the right players around Wembanyama over the next three years and then it will be over for the West. We will see.

They do it on purpose to break momentum. And extend the series. More money. If games were played every day Boston would sweep off that G1 momentum.
But yea... it's super weak the long delays. We've had 1 basketball game in the past 9 or 10 days during prime NBA playoffs.
I want my fix man!
How does that happen? I understand doing it so...
