dallas has a chance with porzingis out but I still think boston wins. Think they're only due for one bad game from 3 left in series imo and hard to beat them when they're shooting well with the great defense.

:lol Cmon bro... Reggie was in his late 30s averaging like 10 ppg at that time. He was totally out of his prime. Ray was in his early 30s and in great shape. He was literally in perfect physical shape. It's odd that he shot THAT poorly in that Boston '08-'10 run. I didn't even realize he shot that bad. His %'s would make Westbrook...

Somewhere like Pistons in 2004. They're more like the default winner, than a true impressive champion. Rule changes midseason changed everything for a team like Nuggets. If there were no rule changes, then Nuggets are probably back in the finals and win it.

So because he has 2 series shooting 17% and 19%, that somehow means what exactly? Let's look at some great shooters and their performances with shooting <20% in the playoffs for a series. Allen: 2x Reggie: 1x Peja: 4x*** Hornacek: 4x*** Houston: 1x Klay: 0x Dame: 2x Korver: 1x

They coasted and load managed their way to the best record in the league, easily. And most of their wins weren't even close so their point differential is actually DE-flated. When a team is this good, you can't look at their regular season. But this group has only been together this year so we can only look at this year's playoffs. Where they...

I hate to rain on Jrue's parade, as I've always have felt he was underrated and would like to see him win FMVP over anybody else on Boston. But I have to keep it real, imo he gets a HUGE pass for his absolutely atrocious playoff shooting while on Milwaukee. I understand he contributes in other ways, most notably defensively, and I could forgive...

Reggie vs. BOS '03: 16% 3pt% No one is saying Allen is on the level of Steph. And Ray didn't shoot 13%. Notice the OP said "minus game 2". It doesn't work that way.

LOL, we're STILL doing this? :lol Ingram is just another guy now who's pretty good but nondescript and forgettable. I agree that Tatum isn't an elite superstar; he's a second tier superstar, but comparing him to Ingram is LOL.

He hit arguably the greatest shot in Finals history (other than Kyrie's) and was generally a consistent Playoff performer. In fact, his shooting splits are almost identical from his RS to his POs career. You could make a case for him as the true FMVP of that '08 series, but I still think it's KG because of his defense.

I’ve thought he’s always been very underrated. Him playing on quite a few crappy teams is a big culprit. He always seemed like a guy who would be an amazing piece for a title contender. Good for him that he’s been able to finally have a shot with some great squads.

I've got to agree with tpols here. Look, in the grand scheme of things, is how someone shot in a handful of games clearly past their prime that big a deal? No. But that doesn't mean it isn't pretty shocking that a guy who imo is the 2nd greatest shooter ever was failing to connect on even 20% of his 3's in multiple key series. And it wasn't on...

He just had a game where he scored 26 on like 80% shooting and locked kyrie up. He's seriously underrated. I see him as a Joe dumars level talent... perhaps better on defense. If you think about it guys like Dame and Harden and Westbrook were always considered way better but I feel like kyrie would light them up. And Dame isn't gonna do better...

He was still respected. When the Celtics needed someone to ice the game and secure a 3-1 lead against the Lakers in the 2008 Finals, they gave the ball to Ray Allen. Not Paul Pierce. Not KG. In 2012, when the Heat needed to tie Game 6, they put in Ray Allen and his 17% shooting or whatever it was.

Playing over target weight has a post-up offensive advantage, but many other disadvantages in almost every area of the game. And we see that. Including small injuries that would heal faster on a lighter player, being re-aggrivated by the extra 20-25lbs a player is carrying, while playing thru a recovering injury.

When healthy they are an incredible team. Literally starting 5 All Star talents. But with Zingis missing 75% of the playoffs do they survive the West gauntlet? Their joke path allowed them to be healthy. There's no way Zingis stays healthy facing Denver or Dallas or Minny etc. all back to back. He would've been missing in those series since he...

Been saying this for the longest, and MF’s didn’t wanna hear it. Apparently, Sasa Doncic was also a heavy drinker, and that may factor into why Divac didn’t like him, and didn’t want to draft his son, who was already known as a drinker amongst his teammates. Spencer Dinwiddie, Finney-Smith, etc have all made comments about “going out with...

Can you name a series where Curry or Reggie shot 16% or 13% from 3pt range? Thats... next level bad. The 2016 Finals were the worst series of Currys career and he shot 40% from 3. And that was as 1st option facing hard doubles the entire time. 13%? I'm not complaining because I'm a Kobe fan and if Ray even shot 25% in the 2010 Finals...
