If TNT loses, ESPN needs to pickup the Inside the NBA crew to improve their shit coverage.
ESPN's terrible coverage for 20 years has been unbearable.
The fact that they had Van Gundy and Jackson as their flagship commentary team for ages speaks volumes.
NBC made every game feel like the Super Bowl.

but neither was a consensus bitw with Duncan, KG and Kobe around. Right now our top 5 is something like Jokic, Embiid, Giannis, Luka and Shai(Ant arguably in the mix somewhere) not one American with a frenchie looking like he’s going to be taking the bitw torch in a few years.

I actually think Magic has one of the weaker peaks compared to the other top 10 greats. Arguably the GOAT playmaker, but his lack of scoring and defense compared to guys like MJ, LeBron, Wilt, Hakeem, Shaq, Kareem etc is pretty noticable. Bird also had a better peak than Magic.

Nah actually a bad Mj game looked like this
8 shots in a 2-2 series with a trip to his 1st finals on the line. Help yourself to a story lost to time and knob polishing.

Many people thought the Wolves were "just too much" for the poor Nuggets after 2 games, but now they say Ant needs more help.
How can this be??... How can they have more talent with "length everywhere" according to Lebron, and also the 6MOY, DPOY, and an All-NBA player that carried the franchise until Ant recently took over?
So obviously,...

Is Kendrick Perkins ok?
Is Stephen A getting enough sleep?
Is Shaq's anxiety, due to insecurity on his place in the all time lists, under control?
Is the NBA majority ok with this? The minority seem to be ruling the league. :violin:

well jokic is a beast scoring in the paint and goat lvl playmaking. Never seen that combination in history. No one in history has shot like curry. Just opens up easy layups for his teammates but doesnt show up in box score. Jokic is decent as shooter too and curry can get to the rim pretty well. When you have 2 guys who are historically good...

Murray and mpj injured 1st round, no Ja Memphis 2nd, even younger Luka without Kyrie and worse front court, and a worse version of Boston? Lol

The problem I've always had about this line of thinking is the blatant slander of other greats it takes for Mj to supposedly be "the goat" Statistically he's matched Mj at the very minimum, he's got his fair share of the record book. Winning? So you mean to tell me 4 is so far away from 6 (factoring in 10 total appearances and clearly better comp)...

Brunson is a true MVP candidate despite what some scrubs on a message board think. Second best guard in the league, maybe the best.

Somehow, they'll blame Giddey for OKC losing. Even though he's played 8 out of 24 minutes.

Both great.
The premise there has to be a clear “order” is false.
It’s ok to just say it’s a pick em.
That said, I voted Jokic to spite OP.

i mean we saw brunsons numbers with a healthy team last year. they werent as insane but he was all star lvl last year and also just got better this year. not a true mvp candidate but this year is on the lvl of knicks melo likely better with his playmaking too.

Jesus Christ, Doncic takes up the whole 24 second shot clock himself and bricks the iso.
He did a good job moving the ball most of that half, but that was just embarrassing.

I feel like we’re arguing different things and/or just not understanding one another.
Either way, the original point that someone made that I disagreed with was that MJ “destroyed” Payton. Whether the reason for him shooting poorly was because of Payton locking him up, or his shot just being off, or an in between where Payton made shots a...

If you are talking about back downs in the post, both Towns and Gobert are doing the same and getting away with it as well. It’s just that Jokic is way more efficient with his bully ball there. Look at the Towns’ double dislodging of Murray in game 2. Or the Gobert elbow to Holliday last night that led to Malone’s technical. Jokic posts up...

For the second time, no. My point has been very clear. MJ's bad shooting % in games 4 and 6 had more to do with his shot being off than Payton "locking" him up. Game 5 makes that abundantly clear in my mind.

The prob with these kinda arguments, and it feels like theyre the majority, is youre talkin about everything BUT the players themselves. Youre comparing their teammates, comparing their opponents. Might as well compare their wives and cars.
How about saying what it is about the players themselves that makes you favor one or the other. Instead...
