 He had one great season and he is already one of the top 3 Knicks of all-time? Ever heard of Walt Frazier, Earl Monroe, Willis Reed, Bill Bradley, Bernard King, Patrick Ewing, Latrell Sprewell,Carmelo Anthony, etc.? I find it amusing when fans get carried away like this.

"Nikola Jokic joins Chris Paul as the only players in NBA history to tally 40+ PTS, 10+ AST with 0 turnovers in a playoff game"
eerily efficient

Several highly successful and brilliant engineers are on record as saying that Elon is the smartest person they've ever met. Photographic memory and brilliant technical mind. Spearheaded several billion dollar companies.
Whats the argument against him again?

Jokic is skilled as hell and has had a few nice dunks over the past couple games. Maybe it says more about the guy allegedly defending him though. :confusedshrug:

We weren't (for the most part) clowning his defensive effort in game 4...
He actually wasn't too bad in game 5 but didn't really look like defensive player of the year material...Jokic outplayed him. It happens.
No one would even care if the troll wasn't so stubborn. I don't think anyone really has any issues with Gobert apart from him...

Embiid has been winning the matchup. He ducked many games in Denver though. But he can say he could win against him in the postseason. However, he needs to get out of the 2nd round first.

Guys who are tall and not real bulky are generally easier to bully down low. We saw JV do it to Chet. Zubac did it to the Mavs centers. Bam had his way with KP in the post.
On the flipside, Baron Davis and Stephen Jackson famously gave Dirk trouble. Tony Allen was a menace on KD. Actually the guy who makes Jokic work the hardest is Draymond. ...

That's the way I saw it myself. Gobert had a good game. I think he was the best player for the Wolves out there tonight. He just can't do anything when Jokic has it going and decides to score. Nobody can. Like peak Shaq just in a different way. You try your best against him... you won't succeed.

Nah, Gobert defended him well. If you watch closely he stayed with him through all the fakes and fancy footwork, just a classic case of good defense, better offense. It happens, especially when you’re trying to guard the best player in the world.
