Looks like they have at least a couple roster spots to fill and could easily get rid of 3 other expiring deals if they want. I wouldn't expect much winning without Conley

I'd say they need a veteran pg to mentor Sexton and Talen minimum

So I would think Simone, Jones, and Tosacno-Anderson(if he's not cut) are fighting for the 9th/10th spots. Horton Tucker behind Sexton at the 1. Already have 4 bigs so they don't necessarily need Jones though he'll play over Udoka just because he has a player option for next year and they will want to see what they have at least going into the off season. I could see cutting Udoka and Bolmaro now too. They could probably actually use Toscano-Anderson. They've had all bigs and guards and not much as far as wings. He's listed as a 3/4/5. Rebounds ok for a guy his size. Good passer which should fit in nicely. Like many shooting is his issue. Might help their D? Sign a vet pg and some wings I'd say

guess Juan is staying?
It looks like the trade was all about cap space for the summer. If they get a first rounder out of it that is a bonus. With the ca[ space and picks Ainge will be in the middle of whatever happens come the off season for sure. I sure hope he's having fun again?

he plays hard which this team does. The rest of his game doesn't really fit other than they need a vet pg. Wall would be better
or Beverley or Rose...

unless Davis and Lebron are sidelined which is likely. That is their real problem not the rest of the roster
[QUOTE]Whatever happens, the Jazz are in a good position to maximize their draft capital this season. While even a 20% chance at getting Victor Wembanyama or Scoot Henderson is a long shot, that’s still a very real path for the Jazz to get their missing superstar of the future. If that happens, they potentially have two stars locked up for around $30 million for a few years, with oodles of cap space and a war chest of assets to trade for another star. It would open a very unique window of opportunity to compete right away.

[QUOTE]I’m well aware of the risk of sounding like a fool when criticizing any trade Danny Ainge makes, but I’m taking it anyway. Is the first really the best he could do? Maybe Ainge just felt sorry for the league after receiving essentially seven first-round picks in exchange for Rudy Gobert. But let’s be honest, if he had sympathy, he’d probably have stopped fleecing teams a while ago.

I think he got exactly what he wanted. He will be in the middle of everything that happens this summer with cap space and picks
