Serge is a big loss that I'm worried about. Marc not really. He's really fallen off...

I agree but I actually think the Raptors improved.
So this is the Plan B after they miss Ibaka, Marc and Markeiff.
Just be sure there will be enough cap for Giannis Sweepstake.
Alen Len is such an azz tho...
^^ Giannis ain't coming if we miss the playoffs.

I don't see why Giannis would sign a contract in another country, especially because of higher taxes in Canada than America overall. He can probably get more endorsement money here too and Bucks have younger better team than Toronto, who will probably be losing Lowry soon to Father time (his decline has already begun for a season or 2). Only advantage Canada would have is whole country cheering for him.
Lots of teams are setting themselves up for Giannis sweepstakes. Every team but 1 will be left upset. Right now, the ball is in Bucks' court, and they are the only team who can offer him the supermax

Giannis will get his money anyway. The matter for him should be where and who can help him in best position to win championship and building his legacy on and off the court. Masai is a huge factor as long as he still stays with the Raptors. They have been in winning environment for many years since majority shareholder change. Even after Lowry moving on, the core of Siakam, VanVleet and OG has proven to be great to build around. And Masai-Giannis relationship has long been established since Giannis was still a young kid in Greece.

Only chance we have is his relationship with Masai. But I agree, our chances are slim to landing him. Unfortunately no one wants to play in another country.

That's why you gotta try on this non-American superstar.
Ibaka was a big piece of our team
Gonna miss that guy
Both Ibaka and Marc Gasol being gone is the end of an era.
But now a new one begins, and stuff.
