I feel people need to nuance their beliefs vs their survival in the real world. If you hurt someone to protect yourself or your family, that doesn’t necessarily make you a violent person. Same should be for making money, The best protection you can have in this world is wealth, after all. Whenever a Gen Zer asks me for advice I always tell them to study hard, get good grades, go to a good school and see a therapist if you have test taking anxiety; because the real world doesn’t gaf about your problems and for 99% of us who aren’t born rich this is our only shot at a good life. I don’t sit there and spew my political ideologies. When I read r/ antiwork I can see where they’re coming from. I can’t get behind the Communist shit, but I’ll be the first to tell you that if you’re middle class or poor the system IS rigged against you, but what can you do? Stay poor in protest?

Not on the US they aren't. Socialism takes root out of desperation. There is no one that's that desperate in this country. Anyone who really wants to succeed, can succeed here. Millions of people aren't trying to break into this country because things are hard here.

You have basically 2 types of socialists in the US. The kind that come from some type of privilege, usually from stable parents or a good paying job. Those types say they are socialists because they want the attention and appearance of being seen as altruistic knowing full well they will never have to experience the dark side of socialism here. Then you have people that want to be seen as opinion leaders of the poor and uneducated,either to gain power in the community and/or for personal profit(e.g. BLM). I'm certain you are of the former

If you own rental properties that are vacant and you are not physically protecting them yourself then you are sucking from the tit of government like a little baby. Worse than welfare recipients.

No one is crying about squatters being able to hold on to abandoned properties that have passed the state time limit which is 5-30 years. Once they are contacted by the owner to leave though, it's time to leave. I don't have a problem with the sheriff's office charging people to evict their squatters or non paying tenants. It would be nice for people to be able to pay a private 3rd party squatter removal team but people need to accept that things could get physically violent for the squatters.
