The Tyre Nichols incident may have exposed the left even more than Covid.
It is a post George Floyd America and the message is clear.
People can no longer remain silent. Police brutality, especially as it pertains to black people, must be at the forefront of political discussion. Silence can no longer be allowed.
Those with platforms are obligated to speak up and raise awareness. If you have a social media account, you must post a black square. If the anthem is playing, you must take a knee. If you are an athlete, you must protest games and wear slogans on the back of your jersey.
.
.
.
.
And then, on Jan 7 2023, the worst police beating caught on video since Rodney King surfaced. A 29 year old black man was pulled over at random for no reason, beaten to a pulp, and died 3 days later. If we're being honest, it's actually far worse than Rodney King because he didn't die.
And what was the response from the left you might ask? Hollywood? From all the famous pro athletes? From all the black square advocates?
What happened?? Where were the black squares?? Where were the violent protests outside the white house? Where were the NBA players coming together and holding hands?? What happened to "More Than An Athlete"??
I already know how people in the center and on the right feel about this, but are there ANY so called lefties on here who have the courage to explained what happened here??

It probably exposes the Left to some lower-IQ members of society who didn't already know how deceitful and hypocritical the Left is. And while my heart breaks for this kid, I hope this incident helps Liberals who are on the fence understand and realize how hypocritical their party is and how they only use these incidents to fulfill a narrative when the police officer or the aggressor is a White person.
The battle royal at the dock in Alabama got more news coverage because a White man started a fight with a Black man. And of course, the media narrative was that these White people were racist. Because in American society in 2023, if you are White and you have a disagreement with a Black person, you're only having a disagreement with that Black person because they are Black.

Systemic racism in law enforcement is bs. Its a gimmick the Dems use to skim a few votes from their low IQ voter base. Unfortunately, we are coming up on an election year. If you're a police officer, be careful out there.

Actually read an article on yahoo, forgot the publication (maybe The Root?) that said the killing was a function of white supremacy. The black officers had been “indoctrinated” into the institutionalized racism of the police department and can’t even realize that they are acting as agents of white supremacy. Progressives do not believe that black people can think for themselves, they need to be told what to do/think.

A democrat is in office so they won't be able to muster up the energy this time around. As far as the social justice brigade is concerned, they already ended racism and police brutality when they elected Biden.
When the Nichols thing happened, there were small pockets of protestors initially, especially in Memphis where it took place. But without the constant media attention and focus, even the so called true believers could only pretend to care for so long.

It's downright lunacy. Some of these organizations are begging for defamation lawsuits like Nicholas Sandmann. That's one way to combat this crap.
