Mann is putting a ton of energy into being a frustrating pest early on both Doncic and Irving. Dallas now has to run some sets that take advantage of his eagerness and smaller size. Likely the same sets they ran against Beidges in the Phoenix series.

Yeah, Kidd is not a good coach and that might be a problem.

They need to have some strategies to get easier looks for Luka and Kyrie.

Mavs will adjust, they always look bad against physical teams that play well in a system.

They need to find some favorable matchups and exploit those.

Clippers are a solid team without Kawhi. Not a contender but not a lottery team either like Heat without Butler.

Kawhi has played on teams that would make or at minimum contend for the playoffs without him every year of his career lol. Idk if that’s ever happened before.

Dallas making Westbrick aggressive and wanting the ball, will work against the Clippers, have seen Westbrick want the attention, and go on so many head down drives for turnovers, charges, and bad low% contested finishes, then you look up, and the score has fluctuated 8 points the other way.

Westbrick cannot overcome his own jealousy of a successful teammate. He will do something stupid to get attention, then take bad shots and turn the ball over by being overly senselessly aggressive.

That said; Dallas needs to stay calm and follow their game plan, the 3’s will begin to drop.
