They're young, it makes sense. Also made sense for them to just run this season and see what works/doesn't. Next season OKC can retool with trading some young talented and 230 picks for something nice.

shai doesnt have variance in his game without the 3pt shooting. usually variance is associated with bad games but there's positive variance too. Luka can always go like 9/12 from 3 and score 50. shai scored above 40 like twice this year. tbf also scored under 20 only 5 times.

If you play a two point heavy game, you should also have a great defense, case in point Detroit Pistons with Rip Hamilton, MJ and the Bulls, Spurs and Tony Parker.

I believe there was some kind of kerfuffle between his dad and the Mavs team with Hardaway Sr. complaining about how he was treated and since then he hasn't been himself at all.

Don't know if he's been injured, but it sure is weird how he is completely out of the lineup. He is a very bad defender, one of the worst in the league, so maybe that's why he isn't playing much in this new reffing.

As far as physical perimeter defenders with great loose ball play go, who can (this season not prior) shoot the 3 efficiently ? Name a better one than Dort, for Dort money ?

He is aggravating Luka just as well if not better than Mann did 1st round.

He was injured last few weeks of the regular season wasnt he?

Plus he’s either on fire for 20+ or goes 0-10… not much use in the playoffs he’s a shit defender
