Re: The European white boys are well represented in this year's playoffs
American whites should go play in Slovenia if they want to make it.
Change their names so they don't seem american before the draft.

When Wemby was in the redick podcast he pointed out that they spend a lot more time practicing over there. Guys go pro at a younger age. There are fewer games but far more practice time so they develop skills moreso than guys over here going through the aau circuit.

Not only that, but high school age kids will typically workout with the pro team if they're good, even if they're not at the level of going pro. The euro system works in this way by making sure there's a constant pipeline from youth basketball to pro.
Instead in the US, the AAU system incentivizes that kids reclassify to play with younger kids, so they look better. It's a scam honestly.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but it seems like AAU coaches here are scared of the star players, like they can’t tell them anything so you develop bad habits. You go to college and the coach is just using you as a one and done and isn’t bothering teaching or developing anything- just seeing how they can use you to win as you are. Someone like Luka who’s been pro since age 14 or whatever probably wasn’t always a star since he played grown men, and went through getting benched and being coached with accountability. Just my 2c.

American players who stay 3 or 4 years also show this maturity in games, see Brunson.

Kawhi is the best player of this generation, skill-wise. Health robbed him of at least two more titles

I'd say it's Kyrie but Kawhi has the best blend of skill & athleticism when he's healthy.
