InsideHoops.com: Brandon Roy is a slasher who does it all on offense, penetrates off the dribble, defends extremely well, and can probably help any team in the league. Broke out as a senior. Athletic enough to finish in traffic. Smart enough to pass correctly when defenses swarm on him. Not particularly awesome at any one thing. He's an all-around talent. Brandon Roy's NBA position is shooting guard, though he can also play the point.

Named Pac-10 Player of the Year and earned consensus First Team All-American honors as a senior.

Was also a finalist for the Wooden Award, Naismith Award, Oscar Robertson Trophy and Adolph Rupp Player of the Year.

Earned First Team All Pac-10 honors.

Finished collegiate career as Washington’s 10th all-time leading scorer with 1,477 points and ranked sixth in assists with 308.

Was an early entry candidate for the 2002 NBA draft but withdrew from consideration before the deadline.

As a senior in 2005-06, Brandon Roy ranked second in the Pac-10 in scoring (20.2 ppg), third in field goal percentage (.508), fourth in assists (4.1 apg), fifth in three-point field goal percentage (.402), fifth in free throw percentage (.810), ninth in steals (1.4 spg), and 11th in rebounds (5.6 rpg). Season point total of 666 ranked fourth all-time in school history.

As a junior in 2004-05, Brandon Roy averaged 12.8 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 2.2 assists in 24.2 minutes per game.

As a sophomore in 2003-04, Roy averaged 12.9 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 3.3 assists per game. Led team in rebounding and ranked second in scoring, assists, and steals.
