LaMarcus jumps high enough to get the job done. A very complete player. Can block shots. Aldridge is still adding strength and needs to increase his killer instinct and general toughness.

LaMarcus Aldridge Bio/Career Highlights:

Named First Team All Big 12 after his sophomore year.

Earned Third Team NABC All America honors and Associated Press Honorable Mention All America honors after his sophomore season.

Named Big 12 Defensive Player of the Year in 200506.

As a sophomore (2005-06) finished second on team in scoring (15.0 ppg), second in rebounds (9.2 rpg) and first in blocks (2.0 bpg)

As a Freshman (2004-05): Missed the final games 15 games of the season after suffering a season-ending injury to his left hip against Nebraska. Finished fifth on team in scoring (9.9 ppg), third in rebounding (5.9 rpg) and second in blocks (1.5 bpg). Led the team in field goal percentage (.663).
