He flies down the court and is great on the break. Rudy was pretty inconsistent in college, and some have questioned his drive and intensity. Drooling with potential, but will it be realized? He's an athlete who is still refining his basketball skills. Likely NBA position is small forward.

Recorded six double-doubles on the season and reached double figures in scoring a team-high 28 times.

As a freshman in 2004-05, Rudy Gay Big East Rookie of the Year and a unanimous All-Rookie Team selection. Named National Freshman of the Year by The Sporting News.
