Salim StoudamireAtlanta Hawks guard Salim Stoudamire, who missed the last game with a sprained right elbow, could miss the rest of the 2005-06 regular season, according to athletic trainer Wally Blase.

An MRI showed a significant sprain to his ulnar collateral ligament and Hawks team physician Michael Bernot has recommended a second opinion from an elbow specialist to determine the best course of treatment.

Stoudamire, whose injury occurred in the third quarter of Sunday's home against Orlando, has seen action in 61 games (one start) and averaged 9.7 points, 1.9 rebounds and 1.2 assists in 20.3 minutes.

In a related matter, rookie forward Marvin Williams re-joined the team after missing Monday's game at Detroit. He was absent from the team after visiting his ailing grandfather in North Carolina.
