No it doesn't. The actual rule is that if the officials saw him throw the heat pack on the court it would be a technical.

Malone could have easily gotten tossed though.

Nuggets are a better team than the low IQ Minnie, but it was hilarious to see how they flipped the script from allowing Minnie to play super aggressive defense to essentially shutting them down after they took the lead. Once they were no longer able to play aggressive, they couldn't make up the talent gap (primarily because of how good Jokic is). Would have been nice if Curry and Klay ever got the pillow treatment Nuggets got from the referees after game 2 in their entire playoff history.

Nah, any other superstar getting touched up the way Jokic does is shooting 15 ft’s, not 6.6

No he isn't. And GSW certainly aren't short of nice officiating being who they are.

    Ridiculous comments.

"I could literally clothesline someone off the next pindown, I know Klay just hit 3 in a row, the crowd's on their feet as he's getting his 4th and I could punch somebody in the face on a screen, knock em out and they wouldn't call it. Klay would get his 4th 3, and even the refs would go 'Wow' (and ignore it), it was crazy."

If you are talking about back downs in the post, both Towns and Gobert are doing the same and getting away with it as well. It’s just that Jokic is way more efficient with his bully ball there. Look at the Towns’ double dislodging of Murray in game 2. Or the Gobert elbow to Holliday last night that led to Malone’s technical. Jokic posts up more, but the no-calls were the same.

Same goes for the hard screens. The discrepancy comes because he screens more than the Wolves do, not because there’s a difference in the way the refs call it.

In game 2, the refs were letting basically anything go on perimeter defense, and allowing a lot more defensive contact generally. This worked to the Wolves advantage, but the whistle wasn’t one sided. It was just very, very loose and that allowed the Wolves to play a smothering defense that fits their length and athleticism.

There are some weird seeming inconsistencies in what the refs will call. They called some kinds of touch fouls. For example, when Ant initiates contact on a drive by throwing his body laterally into the defender, they will call that foul. There are other, more serious kinds of contact that they don’t call. But again, that’s not favoritism, just a weird gloss on the rules.

The questionable thing last night was the flurry of offensive fouls. They were all offensive fouls. But they came right after Malone got the T for their failure to call an even more obvious offensive by Gobert. Did Malone’s outburst influence how they were calling the game? Probably. But was it unfair? I don’t think so - it’s not like they were failing to call the same stuff on Denver.

Jordan fans are smart because they like the GOAT, not sure what that has to do with this.

Warriors have absolutely gotten away with screens. It's easy for Bogut to talk about setting illegal screens when the guys running are also getting fouled, pushed, pulled, and hit on a regular basis. Several players have talked about how they were instructed by their coaches to foul the sh*t out the guards running because it doesn't get called (Jefferson 2016 for one).

It's not screens or backing down, this guy flat out hits players even though it looks accidental. Elbows, pushes. Which for a supernatural superstar scorer and one of the best playmakers in the league, it makes him unplayable to defend. It's giving an advantage to their strength (like Ja allowed to double dribble, travel when he has the fastest first step, or clumsy ass Giannis playing an NFL linebacker and every team being in fouls because of it).

Literally don't follow LeBron. Been team Jokic the last 4 or 5 years.
